I shall reblog whenever I see this….

the amount of perfection in that paragraph makes my heart happy.

I’m a Christian and I support this message.

i think i’m crying that’s so perfect

There’s also the fact that the reason Jesus died on the cross was so that Christians no longer had to follow the laws of the Old Testament.

By denying homosexuals the right to marry because of what it says in Leviticus, you are basically saying that Jesus’ sacrifice WAS NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU.

PREACH.

My dad credits this as his favorite photo of me.
When I was younger, I was very socially anxious. I hated crowds, hated attention, hated being up on stage. In preschool there was this little Halloween show that we put on, and man, I did not want to do that shit, let me tell you. All those parents watching me sing some stupid song? Nah, that ain’t me.
But I was forced to, and I was pissed about it. My dad was in the audience, taking pictures and enjoying the show. In that moment, I swear, my tiny four year old was pure rage and resentment. I felt the word “fuck” years before I knew what it was.
My dad pointed the camera at me, and I turned, and I looked. I gave him the look that summed up all the anger, all the absolute fury that was brewing inside me. He says that he had never before seen such a perfect depiction of total and complete hatred. In his four year old son.
To this day whenever I get pissed, he calls me “Buzz Lightyear”.

Kansas City suspect to be charged with hate crime in Jewish centre shooting. Frazier Glenn Cross, 73, killed a 14-year old boy and his grandfather outside a popular Jewish community center, and a third victim outside a nearby Jewish retirement home in the Kansas City suburb of Overland Park.
The incident has brought attention to Cross’s decades-long affiliation with hate groups. The Southern Poverty Law Center, a nonprofit that tracks hate movements in the US, said Cross was once the grand dragon of the Carolina Knights of the Ku Klux Klan. He has also been arrested for using intimidation tactics against African Americans, and he has authored a book filled with hateful rhetoric.

The biggest cowards cling to their gods and guns. Frazier attacked the old and the young at a place of worship during Passover. He knew they were vulnerable and unable to defend.
The sociopathy of the right-wing in middle America is something we need to bring to the forefront. Rush Limbaugh uses violent rhetoric saying “CBS has just declared war on the heartland of America" about Colbert replacing Letterman. Limbaugh extended his war metaphors adding, “No longer is comedy going to be a covert assault on traditional American values [and] conservatives.”
What about the heartland declaring war on America? The heartland as backbone of America is bullshit. The rural Red States are tax drains and socialized to the hilt, yet preach “on your own” politics. Let’s get real.
It is patently sick when conservatives use “take aim” and “declare war” rhetoric and their acolytes end up using guns to kill. [I am not making a literal connection between Cross and Limbaugh] It happens over and over and we pretend the situation was not stoked with hate and evil so obviously broadcasted from the top of the conservative hierarchy.
They will try to portray this guy as lone KKK, Hitler-loving wacko who hated Jews and blacks but it is a larger reflection on the heartland misanthropy and prejudice that is allowed to brew in small-mind America and instigated by the right wing media.
I am sickened.
